Her parents were killed in an accident when she was in medical school, and since she wanted to be a small town Doc decided to return and live in her parents home. The first year after opening her practice was rough, now things are settling, and her practice is thriving. Her staff and friends tell her constantly she works too hard. A chance meeting with Sheriff Grayson convinces her that maybe it's time for some fun. Cole has been my favorite Grayson brother since the first visit to Star Harbor. I think Julie's description says it all. " He had a hardness to him that hadn't been there when he was younger. My God, the man was sizzling! And dangerous. Very, very dangerous." There is suspense, violence, and a lot of sweet love. The mystery of the Siren Lorelei is revisited with the discovery of another key. I find this series a wonderful read. There is always humor, strong characters, and the Grayson brothers. What more do you need? Val, the DEA agent is up next. More intrigue I'm sure! I would highly recommend this novel to lovers of small town stories, with suspense, and wonderful characters. I received this novel from the publisher and NetGalley for an honest review.
