The DiCarlo sisters have never been formally introduced. They all had the same father but only 2 had the same mother. After their father’s death, they were all brought together for the reading of the will. They have to live together in a house & take the jobs he is giving them until the new spa he was building is up & running for a year. The first book introduces us to the majority of the characters. Cami is the only one that hadn’t figured out what was going on. She’s the eldest of the girls & was determined she was going to stay aloof & not get drawn into their lives.

I enjoyed the way the interactions between the girls show them getting closer to acting like a family. Cami wasn’t able to hold out. There are several plot lines involved here. The first line is the girls learning to be a family & support one another. The second, someone is trying to make sure the spa is not a success. Who could be behind it? Can the girls band together? ( )

Good story with a very interesting plot. Fun characters. Writing not always as clear and tight as I like but very well done for a debut novel. Definitely recommended read. ( )
