This was such a cute book. I am glad I could read it from the males POV. I loved Ryan. He was so sweet ... OMG I want to find me a Ryan Hunter. Tony was an ass and typical male in book 1 and 2. I just wanted to shake Liza sometimes for still pining after Tony, but I'm glad how things did end up. And I liked the extra ending we got in this book. ( )

I don't know how this could possibly have happened. For me to love a story even more than I already did. Ryan Hunter is basically Play With Me, except that the events are written in Ryan's perspective. Ryan Hunter: captain of the soccer team, certified player, owner of the partying scene... And secretly and hopelessly infatuated with the one girl that is off limits, Liza Matthews.

But Liza's loyalty and devotion has always been set with her best friend Tony Mitchell, one of the best players on Ryan's soccer team. Having accepted the hopelessness for his feelings towards the girl, Ryan keeps them to himself. But as the soccer team returns from a five-week soccer camp, an opportunity presents itself. Tony finds himself a girlfriend, and in his need to protect his best friend, asks Ryan to act as a bit of a distraction to Liza. Never one to reject an opportunity, Ryan agrees.

But as he spends more time with Liza, he falls more and more in love with her. And just when he thinks there is hope in her returning his feelings, the agreement that he made with Tony out of desperation comes back and changes everything.

“I fell asleep with one thought. This girl was mine. She just didn’t know it yet."

Ryan, oh perfect, sweet, protective, wonderful Ryan. Just when I thought I couldn't possibly love him even more, he once again proves me wrong. I adored Ryan's character in this book. Despite his borderline-obsessive feelings for Liza, I couldn't help but root for him. I saw how he genuinely cared for her and always wanted the best for her. He is much more than the shallow person that so many people believe that he is. I loved Liza, just as much as I did in Play With Me. I loved loved loved the added dynamics of Ryan and Liza's families. It was great to see that.

For anyone looking to add to their summer reading list, this book and Play With Me should definitely be considered. Both were well written and although pretty cliche, extremely entertaining and heartwarming. I'll definitely be checking out future works by this author.

OMG!!! I love Ryan Hunter a helluva LOT!!! Reading their story, Ryan and Liza, all over again and told from Ryan's POV... WOW. I like it! It is really nice knowing what Ryan Hunter thought about Liza. I really liked knowing how and what Liza do to him. Dammit. Pretty cool and sweet.

But I just had to say... Ryan Hunter sounds like a horny dude in here. LMAO. Well, I guess that's how some men's mind thinks. *smirk* And for a male teenager, I could understand his... situation. Good thing he is really in love with Liza and not the type who just want to get into her pants.
