Thanks to Netgalley.com and F W/Adams Media for allowing me access to this title. If you love psychological thrillers, this is for you. The build-up of the story was perfect. There are books that move too fast, those that jump around, and those that take forever to get to any action. This was great. Even the flow of the ending was amazing. I usually feel like endings are rushed or choppy, but this wrapped everything up in just the right way. At first, the age difference of the characters was a little bit of a stretch for me, but by the end when all of the connections are explained it worked out. I've read many books like this before, and I can see how it would be difficult to get younger characters (teens) into the right positions for what they need to accomplish without being too contrived. This just worked for me perfectly. Julie Anne Lindsey,Deceived Julie Anne Lindsey,Deceived I think the basis of this story is good. However, it is in need of a revision. It needs to be much more descriptive and there are several grammar errors needing address. If fact, there seem to be so many errors that it distracts from the story. The reader must read some parts more than once to understand the meaning or intent. After a good editing and rewrite, this story will be an awesome read. I think I was hooked from the beginning with this one. Nightmares, a history of moving around, mysterious things happening, boarding school, hot guys, serial killers, stalkers, secrets and made up streets in DC? Sign me up. Set in the main character's senior year of high school, the book follows her quest to figure out why she hasn't been able to sleep in what feels like forever, why strange things keep happening and why the new guy on campus keeps following her around. That sounds cheesy but I promise you this book was anything but. I really liked it and found it very hard to put down. ( )
