so boring. too bad though b/c I was hoping Sally's story would be awesome.

I continue to enjoy this series. Talk about living vicariously. This is so far out of my real life comfort zone, you can't even see it from here. That's what fiction is for I guess. However, if you're looking for some excellent BDSM romantica look no further. The characters and motivations are well portrayed and make sense. This one was MFM menage and the way the menage was presented made sense. These two men were long time friends who were used to threesomes so ariving at a permanent threesome was not a stretch. There was however no MM action. The overarching plot which we have been following for the last few books was more wrapped up here I believe. The heroine was a bit too stubborn about not asking the FBI agents she was sleeping with for help but maybe that was a function of her being submissive and not wanting them to take over. Still the sex was hot and there were plenty of scenes with the others at the club that we've become friends with. ( )

I love Sally's story. One of the best in the series. Sally's story is dealing with past issues and she gets not one but 2 Masters. Plus more of the other characters because the Shadowlands Masters/subs are a family. ( )

Holy moly was this book worth the wait. This is Sally’s story. She has appeared in all of the Masters of the Shadowlands books. This is also the resolution of the Harvest Association storyline. Last but not least this is the longest book in this series. It has to be longer so all the ends can be tied up.

I don’t think anyone knew how much abuse and sorrow were in sweet Sally. She has been a trainee in the Shadowlands since the first book came out. She is intelligent, loving, loyal and a mischief maker of the first order. She is also wondering in the beginning of this story why she can’t find a Dom. All the other submissives have found someone but not her. At the beginning of this story she has broken up with a Dom that she thought was the one. Unfortunately he is an abusive drunk. I really wish that Galen and Vance had been able to teach the idiot a lesson. It takes Sally getting beaten again by this drunk for to realize that the problem is her inability to express her emotions and when she needs something. She does ask Galen and Vance for help to get her past her problems. I admire Sally because she is willing to face what has happen and make herself a better person. She is also not afraid to love both Galen and Vance. There is so much going on with Sally that you want to sit her down and just hold her until she is all better. I love the jokes that she pulls in this book. She has a very rich and vivid imagination.

Galen Kouros and Vance Buchanan have been working on the white slavery case for years. They are stuck with no new leads at the beginning of this book. When Sally becomes an anonymous informant the case starts to break up. Her clever virus has her receiving all the emails from the Association. I was very glad to get a story for these two. They are so dedicated to protecting those weaker and less powerful you have to admire them. I think that they are my second favorite of all the Masters at Shadowlands. Master Z will always be first. These two are a perfect complement to each other. They are also very patient and caring with Sally. They never expected to fall in love with the little spitfire. They make a few missteps but they never give up on her. Master Z should be very pleased with his match making skills. Another thing that I loved about these two is that they are restoring the house they bought in Tampa. They are both talented with their hands in more than one way.

We see more of Master Z, Jessica, Dan, Kari, Marcus and Gabi in this story. There are several wonderful announcements in this book which help after all the nastiness from the Harvest Association. Dan and Kari work out some post baby problems which was also nice to read about. I am hoping that this isn't the end of this series. I have loved all the books so far and I have looked forward to each new one.

Now for the warnings I put with all books in this genre. There is spanking (sometimes very painful spankings), anal play, this is a menage so m/f/m is the designation, bondage, crying, public nudity and lots of pranks that get subs into trouble. ( )
