I was given an advanced copy of “Our Future, Our Fault Collection,” by author Carolyn McCray to preview as a beta reader. I’m always excited when I get the email that indicates that she has finished her new book. I have yet to find one book of hers that has not left me wanting more. As you’ve guessed, she is one of my favorite authors.

This multi book collection is circled around a nuclear war that is going to devastate the world. With missiles already launched, mass panic has taken over. Nobody knows where it’s going to be safe. To top all this chaos off, scientists have messed around and now dinosaurs are roaming the Earth again.

With the fallout of the war, Neo-Jurassic, takes us into the post apocalyptic world of survivors. Life is nothing like it was before. Tribes has been developed and scattered across the planet. The dinosaurs are now roaming the Earth. No technology of any sorts is functioning. The history of our pasts is told as stories to live by and hopefully never to repeat.

With a few hidden places across the planet, people are finding that there are stashes of certain items. But it’s the technology that people are in hopes of finding that will bring us humans back. Otherwise, the Syn’s (robots) are going to seek us out and destroy us. What is left of humankind falls in the hands of a young female tribal leader. Will she be able to pull of what is needed for survival?

With any book that your read by Ms. McCray, you will be caught up in an action packed novel that will leave you wanting more when you’re finished. I have been a beta reader for her for a while now and never tire of anything that she has penned.

Be prepared for a fascinating selection of stories that she has compiled in this series. ( )
