There are a lot of leadership books on the market, but the truth is that not many actually teach business owners and managers the steps to becoming real leaders. Ravinder Tulsiani’s book, “Your Leadership EDGE”, not only makes readers more aware of the crucial core leadership qualities managers need to succeed, but does much more than that: it offers a unique training program that will help them acquire those skills. The main goal of this book is to help managers become true leaders who know how to engage and develop their employees so that they can drive massive growth to their organization.

Today, leadership is more important than ever. There are so many employees who leave the companies they work for after a couple of months from being hired, that it is time managers asked themselves why this is happening. No, it is not the employees’ fault, as most people might be inclined to believe. As Ravinder Tulsiani says, “numerous exit interview studies have found that employees don’t leave companies, they leave their managers.” Does this mean that it is, in fact, the managers’ fault? Again, the answer is no. The real problem is that managers rarely receive proper training when they are promoted to this position. Usually, they do their new job relying on their past experience, and this means that they lack the core competencies of a true leader. With adequate training, this can be changed, and the employees can become passionate about their jobs and engaged in the company’s interest.

With over 13 years of experience in training and development, Ravinder Tulsiani is the right person to teach managers how to become the leaders their employees will respect and follow. He developed a unique leadership training program called EDGE, and his guide contains all the steps readers have to take to use EGDE to their advantage. They will first learn about the core competencies a leader needs to have, and how to identity their own competency gaps so that they would know where they need improvement. Then, each chapter focuses on the leadership skills that can take the company to the next level.
