Stalking the Hygienist is the second book in the ‘Paranormal Dentistry for the Fanged and Friendly.’ It stars deer shifter, Beauregard, and Sergei, a lion shifter. The story is told in third person from both their povs.



I read this series out of order. I started with the first book and then jumped over this one and read a few of the later books before I jumped back to this one.

Beauregard is the hygienist working for Gunner, the wolf shifter dentist. Sergei is a butcher at the local grocery store. We first see his attraction to Beauregard in the first book, and in this one Sergei starts to pursue Beauregard. Beauregard resists Sergei’s advances because Beauregard doesn’t trust his judgement in picking good partners. The book continues with Sergei’s pursuit and how the two MC’s get together. The story also introduces more characters for later books.

I had fun reading this story. If you read this, you’ll have to ignore many of the grammar errors, the swiftly moving plot, the silliness, and unfortunately the telling. But the silliness helps offset that. If you’re looking for fluffy cotton candy and to relax without thinking hard about a book or being wrung out from the angst, you might enjoy this. I’ll probably end up reading the rest of the books in the series because these stories are amusing.

I do want to make a comment that the guys on the cover really look like each other. In fact I thought they could be brothers which is kind of creepy. They don’t look like the characters at all to me.

Anyway, I found this story fluffy entertainment and give Stalking the Hygienist, 3 Stars.
