Character development was good and the story's puzzles are falling into place. Cannot wait to read the thrid book. ( ) This was a great sequel to "Zodiac". I loved getting to learn more about the various characters, but I especially enjoyed getting to see more of the various Houses and their traits. The fact that each House's population not only values different character traits, but also displays different physical traits as well is very cool. Although I do not believe in the whole "astrological sign" thing, I am considered a Leo and enjoyed getting to see their scenes, however small they were, the most. The over all story line this time around really got heated up with lots of fighting (of varying levels) and scattered deaths. Although, that being said, it still miffs me a bit that the fate of the Zodiac, which should be in the hands of full fledged and experienced adults, gets thrown at the feet of head strong teenagers. Over all, I enjoyed the character development we see here (although the love triangle bull crap still annoys me, though not as much as in the first book). This was a great sequel to "Zodiac". I'll be honest, I didn't know what to expect with this one. I liked the first one well enough, to read this one, but had no idea I'd get SO SUCKED IN..If you have ever read a book where you didn't want it to end, so you read slower on purpose, that's what I did. The first one had fantastically created worlds with societies built for each of them with rules and all. In this one we get even more of that, and the characterizations are all there. I also loved the action and pacing of this one, and when the plot twisted, my heart lurched! SO, yeah.. I'll be waiting for the next one. Well done, Ms. Russell, can't wait for the next! keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
