But this comes after it I believe. And it also seems like an even more intense story than that one. Superman has aquired his very own Joker sort of villian. The bad guy is torturing Superman and trying to destroy him. And this guy uses everything at his disposal for sure. The Batman/Superman stuff, even in the New 52, always seems to be good, and this is no exception. And as an added bonusthere was a bit of (super short haired) Lois too. Not a bad TPB at all. I got this advanced Galley from Netgalley on behalf of DC Entertainment. Zeige 2 von 2 keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen

I've been trying to figure out why my loss of interest with the Superman and Batman titles, and I think it boils down to this: I don't really care what happens. There's very little reason to care about any of the characters and the writing doesn't supply anything to help rectify that.
This volume started strong, but the longer it went, the more it just started dragging on and on. And I'm not sure what the purpose of the two stories at the end had to do with Kandor or the entire storyline here. Filler, perhaps.
There's not much keeping me reading this series, and DC desperately needs a new lot of writers. The artwork was good, but it's losing against poor writing. ( )
