Chose this purely because I wanted something light between two heavy books. Clearly the right choice as this was just fluff with no substance. Reminded me of the kind of overly-pretentious 'dear diary' essays we wrote in high school. Don't spend more than a day on this. ( )

Its a good book. She has a quirky way to write which is really nice. I still can't relate to the book but I guess I will in a few years. A good read. ( )

The book is more of quintessential Indian Bahu and Indian Mother and Indian woman. I could relate to several instances and laugh at them,basically laugh at the things that have happened in my life(Not at the things mentioned in the book) . I say that because the humor seemed forced and not natural AT ALL. The book has too many stereotypes and cliches. The narration and the continuity is something I did not like as it seemed like reading directly from her blog than from a book. Nevertheless, Twinkle's ideas are very liberal and open. I liked the frankness of thoughts and boldness of actions. 3.5 Stars! ( )
