Prime is the second book in the Burners series. I did not read the first book but found that didn't mar my enjoyment of Prime. I liked the premise behind the book and how the story unfolded. ( )

I like a good sci-fi yarn. I'd give this 4 1/2 stars if the rating had that ability. Like most sci-fi stories, this just starts with no intro. That's always a little off-putting for me, but you stick with it and everything becomes clear. This story was easy to read, had a nice flow to it. ( )

This is the second and final book of the Burners series. It is essential (and worthwhile) to read book one first.

This volume continues the story from "Burners" where many intriguing questions were left outstanding.

This is a great adventure story of a dystopian future where a complex and rigidly structured society is run by an evil man, or is it run by an evil machine, or perhaps both, or maybe something else is going on. The characters are well portrayed and I found myself emotionally involved in their pain, their successes and their failures. The story ends with a full and satisfying conclusion.

Overall this is a gripping read and one I can recommend highly. ( )

I received this book from Library Thing Early Reviewers in exchange for an honest review. Prime (burners book 2) is a quick, exciting read. It is the second book in a series (Burners)I would advise you to read Burners first, or you will be lost. "Prime is the continuation of Grace and Millay. A new Chaos threatens the world. And the twins are the deciding factor.

This book is very thought provoking. Bob Meyer introduces another intriguing concept in these books. This novel messed with my head and made me extremely concerned about the future. Of course, it is just a fiction book so I have no reason to worry. Right? ( )
