Before That Night got the ball rolling with the complicated romance of Addison and Caine. Every Night Without You picks up after that night, seven years later. Ms. Duke made some surprising reveals and gave some heartbreaking answers to the questions left unanswered in Before That Night. This time around I felt more focus being put on the mysterious stalker than the romantic liaison. With all the baggage shoveled her way, it was nice to see Addison finally get the closure and happy ending she so richly deserved. ( )

This book has it all - a second chance at love, a hot sexy guy, a sweet funny girl & a supporting group of characters that you fall in love with. Addison is my hero! She's sweet, smart, clumsy & puts everyone else first. She left Caine when the situation with her stalker began to compromise his values & job as a cop. Caine understood why she left but hasn't been able to move on. There's an element of surprise & mystery running through the plot that really amps up the intensity. This is another great read by Violet Duke! ( )
