I'm really enjoying the series so far. This time there was three separate stories. The first was about the skin and the unskinned person and how a strange man was talking to them both about combining themselves into one. The second story was about a witch with snakes that involved Emma's friend. Lastly, was about Emma trying to figure out a ghost haunting. Loved all the stories, especially the last one. Graphics are good and this series is definitely for fans of horror. ( )

Another winning entry in the Harrow County series-great stories and artwork! I especially liked Bernice's story in this book, and I'm looking forward to seeing her arc in future volumes. ( )

I didn’t quite enjoy volume three. Considering just how fascinating the first two volumes were, this one lacks the punch and flavor of its predecessors. The story with the snake charmer was well done, chiefly because snakes are creepy. The haunted house story was okay-ish. I never understood what exactly the story was aiming for. Other than establishing Emmy’s powers, which we are already familiar with, it does not break any new ground or has anything interesting to say.

From what I’ve read, this volume is a collection of short stories and one-shots. That may explain the (lack of) strength. Definitely a pass, other than the snake story. ( )

A collection of short single issue stories - at this point they seemed a bit inconsequential and found myself wanting a multi-issue storyline. Hoping that Bunn picks up on a few of these plot points for longer narratives. ( )

This sets a greater focus on some other characters in Harrow County and starts another arc for Emmy that should be interesting. All in all, just as good as the rest. Given that this worked mostly as setup for later stories, I am curious to see how this will play out. ( )
