And again, I bemoan the constraints of crossovers: King was constrained, and wasn't allowed to tell his own stories. He does better when he's on his own, and both Vision and Batman make me think so: he's better off left alone to his own devices, able to manipulate the corner of the sandbox he's been given. Every time it's him alone, not part of a crossover, I love his work. I feel meh about his work on crossovers, at least so far.

That being said, I loved this: Waller has made Batman an offer and he's taken it. He's taking bad, bad people, including someone who's portrayed as the worst of the worst, and using them to get something from Bane.

I was shocked at who was on the 'no-go' list, but I'm also digging how they've been portrayed in this issue. I'm willing to ride out this ride and see where King's taking me.
