I liked that the author turned the "gay best friend" trope on its head by having a gay character with a gay best friend. My favorite character was Ander. He reminds me of a few people I know (and sometimes myself, to be honest). At first I thought Owen was too perfect, a literal "Prince Charming". It bugged me, but then he grew on me and I began to enjoy the story more. I was glad with the surprise twist ending. It seemed fitting. Groomzilla Does Vegas is, in my opinion, a fluff story. Owen and Daniel get married. There is little-to-no conflict, and about as much content. It's still cute, though. I'm giving this three stars. I wish the books had more conflict, to be honest. It seemed like all the obstacles were resolved very fast. Everything wrapped up a little too nicely. Zeige 2 von 2 keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen

Groomzilla When drama threatens to ruin a romance on a reality show, only a true friend can save a groomzilla's wedding. Daniel Green is neither a romantic nor a wedding planner, but he's the only person who can manage his childhood friend Ander, an outrageous fashion designer soon to marry a wealthy entertainment lawyer. Distracting Daniel is Owen Grainger, a too-handsome-to-be-true producer whose quiet charm pulls Daniel into his orbit. When the stress of the show triggers bad behavior from Ander, the coproducer decides it's the key to a ratings bonanza, and he undermines Ander and Rafe's relationship to create more drama. Daniel is determined to protect his friend, but when he falls for Owen, there's much more at stake than ratings. Groomzilla Does Vegas Daniel Green and Owen Grainger found a happy ending in the middle of chaos. Now, a year later, they are engaged, setting up house, and working on their new production company. What could go wrong? Well, allowing the eccentric but well-meaning Ander to be the wedding planner is possibly Daniel's first mistake. A bachelor weekend in Las Vegas might just make or break Daniel's last nerve. Keine Bibliotheksbeschreibungen gefunden. |

Contemporary romance. M-M.
Outlandish Ander asks best friend Daniel to plan his over-the-top wedding for a reality TV show. They’ve been each others rocks and sounding board since they were in boarding school together so of course, Daniel agrees. What follows is Daniel being organized while Ander asks for huge flowers, colorful linens and customized tuxedos. Chaos.
A sentimental romance of blooming love, friendship, and life planning decisions. Heavier food issues, business problems and arguments are included because it’s a story that could be real life for anyone.
I liked Daniel’s organizational abilities but wondered why he thinks he should have a life plan at only 25. That seemed a bit young for permanence. The romance worked though and he was able to help Ander and Owen through their issues so he’s a smart man.
