If you have read any of my reviews then you know this is one of my favorite authors and an awesome way to start off 2018!
“If Liam was a pain in her heart, Wulf was a full body ache…She’d shared her life with Liam; she’d shared her heart with Wulf. She could always get her life back. A heart, though, wasn’t as easy to recapture.”

Picking up two weeks after the first novel ended, Katya is still reeling and hurt by Liam and Wulf’s deception. In spite of her sexual adventures, she’s still very much the old Katya - a little naïve, a little bit of a pushover – and I couldn’t help thinking that the baker wanted to have her cake and eat it, too, and her current situation was as much her fault as the men’s.

While Liam and Wulf scramble and plot individually to win her back, Katya decides to dish out her own brand of punishment, stringing them along and putting the guys into an awkward situations. She’s playing a game of her own with no intention of choosing either one. However, she didn’t count on her own heart and feelings getting in the way. I was secretly hoping she was going to end up with Liam but that is only until I found out there was a book three. All is right in my world something to look forward to.

A Kindle Unlimited that I one-clicked paid for. I was happy to see this next installment of what is totally a parallel universe populated by Satan, Tatum, and Angier. No matter, I love it....
So, I finished it today and found that although it was a good read, it was a bit too much "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned", too much holding out for the sake of punishment.

Not that I mean that the book was lacking in romance, but when I say "holding out" I mean emotionally, athough she does hold out the other way as well. It was more of the "you are the worst person on earth and I could never trust you, or like you again....leave me alone, but come back so I can further tell you how awful you are...why are you following me and doing nice things for me....I can't trust you even though you are actually dancing to my tune.. I hate you...and want you to leave me alone...but still lust after me...Ok, we can be friends, but on my terms....and those terms will change at my whims. Again, I hate you and want you to drop dead, go to hell, leave me alone. I will question your every move and motivation...try and figure me out...."

Don't hate me for writing that.... It was a great read, and I have had wine. Other than that, it was a great read.

1. Have loud parties late at night

2. Refuse to mow his lawn

3. Steal your newspapers

4. Rip your heart out and walk all over it

Katya Tocci is willing to admit that she may have bitten off more than she could chew.

Liam Edenhoff showed her a side of life she'd been missing out on - sex and friendship and tacos. But then he betrayed her.

Wulfric Stone taught her that big surprises can come from unexpected places - like from a surly, aggressive, withdrawn bastard. But then he broke her heart.

Now one of them wants forgiveness, and the other wants forever. And Katya? She just wants to forget.

Who knew neighbors could be so difficult?

Apparently I am in the minority, because I thought The Neighborhood was excellent, better than Neighbors for me. While I enjoyed Neighbors, when I went to pick up The Neighborhood I realized I had forgotten the majority of the story line, it was just that kind of book for me. The Neighborhood, though? I could not put it down. I wake up at 4:30am for work, but I read this until 11pm one evening...I even cried. Katya's journey as she finds herself isn't pretty, it's certainly not as sexy as it was in Neighbors, but it was realistic. I had some weird, best friend level protective feelings as she stumbled her way through her first major heartbreak and the healing that followed.

Messing with Liam was dangerous enough, but Wulf was downright bad for her health. Bad for my soul.

Stuck in the midst of a love triangle gone wrong, Katya is a passionate heroine desperate to take control of her own story. As she stooped to the same level as Liam and Wulf, I thought I was going to hate her, I mean I rolled my eyes as soon as she got the idea in her head, but it is hard to deny that Katya was clever in her handling of the boys. I found myself loving the fast-paced, laugh out loud run ins between the three, the snarky dialogue, and the rotating POV allows the reader to see the emotions transparently, with the characters never the wiser. Liam and Wulf, well they're Liam and Wulf, I don't feel like they were any different than the previous novel, but the situations they were placed into were. With the setting change, and the angst turned up a notch, the true Liam and Wulf seemed to show. The setting also allowed for a lot of character growth, or in some character's case truth unveiling. I found myself feeling emotions alongside the characters, especially as the book neared it's end. I was both shocked, elated, and a puddle of tears as Stylo unveiled Katya, Liam, and Wulf's futures. It was both unexpected, but welcomed at the same time. Perfectly written, I never once guessed how Katya would finally deal with the mess that her romantic life had become.

If I wasn't broken before, this will shatter me.

"...He's very blinding. Keep both eyes open.

I became so invested in this book, thanks to Stylo Fantome's story telling style. The Neighborhood is intriguing, from start to finish it is honest, and surprisingly poignant. Readers will connect with Katya, Wulf, and Liam, seeing a bit of themselves, of their family, and of their friends in them. I now feel like the emotional torture I went through in Neighbors was worth it, completely worth it, because I enjoyed The Neighborhood so much. If you're looking for a new book, a new series, or are just generally a fan of contemporary romance with a realistic plot line, Twin Estates is the series for you. ( )

FGMAMTC Blog Review  Teasers, Excerpt & Giveaway
In the first book, Katya was pushed out of her shell by her roommate. She went from reserved and never dating to dating two men. She has feelings for both, and of course things blow up. The ending is not what many would have seen coming.

In this book, she's all about her. She's going to do whatever she wants and not worry about the consequences. Things get very messed up, but they eventually pan out in the best possible outcome for all parties. Often things don't magically fix just because love is there. Lots of advice and self-discovery takes place first, which are actually great ideas to consider for relationships in real life.

A few new characters are introduced. It's going to be fun witnessing the connections play out in future stories. I love this author's writing style. I've never disliked a book she's written. Although, this isn't my favorite storyline from her, it's absolutely worth reading.
