CatStronauts is cuteness in a book!

This graphic novel is utterly adorable. Cats who are astronauts? Positive stories showing positive change and helping each other? Adorable illustrations? Sold. I absolutely adored this graphic novel and now I need the first three in my hands ASAP. There's also a fair bit of science in there that isn't fiction, so bonus! And a Star Trek quote!

This book seems to be geared more towards kids but as an adult I absolutely love it. It's such a sweet book that you can get a few life lessons out of but also being a super fun read.

Another adorable installment in the CatStronauts series. This one reminded me of the Martian as the CatStronat team decides to go rogue and rescue one of their own. They steal a ship and go on a month's long journey to rescue their good friend Cat-Stro-Bot, who is trapped in ice. A pretty dramatic ending for a kid's book (which made me love it even more honestly) wraps the whole space pirates chapter for the CatStronauts pretty nicely. This book will teach your kids to buck authority and never leave a man behind! ( )

I loved this book- so funny and is just a good casual read. The graphics are engaging and easy to interpret which ads greatly to the story line. This characters are not disrespectful to be funny which is greatly appreciated these days. The book is organized into chapters that are easily identifiable and will help reluctant readers set targets for their reading. It is not one long comic that just does not stop until the end. The font is also a good size and does not interfere with the graphics. ( )

Ah finally caught up on the series. This time around the Catstronauts sneak out to find their robot stuck on Europa. Chaos and adventure ensues with their robot doppelgangers and of course will Waffles make it through without eating 63 cans of tuna?1?1 Ha ha... great book, story and series. Loved every minute of it! ( )

And so I picked up Robot Rescue which is the 4th book in the series and revolves around a secret mission to rescue their friend Cat-Stro-Bot after he is stranded on a planet during a mission that went horribly awry. As they are not authorized to actually be on this mission, they have to leave replacements back on earth to fool their superiors into thinking they never left...and what better solution than building lookalike robots?! For the kids (or adults with childlike wonder) that like quick, funny graphic novels and/or cats and space this is the perfect series. For myself, this is the best "book filler" I've come across in ages to help to combat my book fatigue. ( )
