Awww appena iniziato e:
1) ADORO Nicholas, che ci viene fin da subito presentato come un bel personaggio, che si è sempre fatto il culo non essendo un ricco figlio di papà viziatissimo ma un lavoratore che ha pure dovuto mettere da parte le monetine per iscriversi alla gara... un personaggio interessante che sicuramente riserverà non poche sorprese e potrà insegnare un po' di umiltà agli altri stronzetti suoi rivali
2) Sono curiosissima di scoprire di più sul padre di Nicholas, sembrava super famoso e fighetto, il grande campione, ricco, amato e venerato quindi deduco che sia caduto in disgrazia per qualche motivo e probabilmente dimenticato quindi...voglio scoprire di più su cosa gli è successo e sul perché il figlio voglia seguire le sue orme
3) La scena di Nicholas che piange in camera dopo l'incontro AWWW avrei voluto coccolarlo e prendere a calci Seiji >. ( )

Great start! With enough of the feels to make the stakes feel higher. ( )

This book is too short to form concrete opinions about the characters but Nick looks like a hardworking boy who has strived very hard to learn fencing and join King’s Row school. Seiji is a champion and his success definitely seems to have made him into an arrogant douche. Their first match cements their rivalry and the ending sets up for some explosive moments for the upcoming books.

I really loved the art style. It’s very minimalistic but captures the essence of the story beautifully. I also love the direction the story seems to be going. The cast is wonderfully diverse and I wouldn’t have expected anything else from one of my most recent favorite authors. Very excited to jump into the next book. ( )

[Rating for overall series] WOOHOO a much-needed fencing comic at last! This has me reflecting on my four years of fencing back in high school, and oh man, what an adventure that was ( )

Excellent introduction to this new series.
And the artwork is divine.

And to all those people complaining about length and price point. It's 24 pages, which is standard for a comic issue (I've just checked against Iceman #2) and the price is comparable too. Seriously, comicing is hard work. Appreciate it. ( )
