Molly finds herself as an owner of a general store located in Love, Minnesota. She’s never been to Love, MN and does not know the person who left her the store. (It was actually left to her mother “and her descendants”). Molly has recently broken up with her boyfriend, Nick, and decides to take a chance on this new adventure and goes to Love to see the general store.
Once she establishes herself, she encounters some quirky characters in the town but also makes some really strong friendships. When mysterious things start happening to her and her store, she worries that someone doesn’t want her there and sets out to find out who that is.
Along the way, she meets Ernie, who lives behind her store and helps her out when needed. She also becomes friends with Tracie and Charlee, who brings her to The Hell-and-Back-Club, which is the first book in this series (no need to read them in order, but the first book is just as good as this one). She also starts to have feelings for Jackson.
This is great story with quirky characters. The book was originally written in 2017 but recently was reissued with a new cover. Highly recommend. ( )

I truly enjoyed all aspects of this book…the characters, the setting, and all the surprises along the way. The town of Love, Minnesota sounds just about perfect and getting to know Molly and watch her transform into her true self was a delight. This story was a great read that I’d recommend to anyone who wants a feel good book with a happily ever after!

This was the second book I’ve read from Jill Hannah Anderson and, while very different from A Life Unraveled, it was still equally as wonderful! ( )

A cute book about Molly moving to her mom's small hometown of Love, MN, (hence the title), where she inherits a store. People are welcoming (or at least some are) and she meets a lot of wonderful people who becomes her friends. One in particular is Jackson who she doesn't know what to make him out to be. As always, it turns out to be a love story.

There are some people who want to run her out of town and it sort of becomes a mystery of who burned down her store and attached house. It al turns out well after all since she wanted the store to be much more than a "general" store and more modern and upbeat. ( )

I enjoyed this book....it flowed with ease, it was a real page turner, and had great characters. It has drama, it has mystery, it has friendships, and it has love. Looking forward to continuing with the series. I recommend this book to all readers, it’s a great beach read.

I was given this book by the author for a honest review....thank you Jill for a afternoon of entertainment. ( )

IMG_4960MY REVIEW OF “CRAZY LITTLE TOWN CALLED LOVE” BY JILL HANNAH ANDERSON, Panda Moon Publishing , 2018

Jill Hannah Anderson, Author of “Crazy Little Town Called Love”has described her quaint town, and colorful cast of characters in such a vivid way, that I am ready to pack my bags to look for a town just like Love. Can you picture a heart-shaped lake and a town with neighborly folks? “Crazy Little Town Called Love” is a delightful, charming, endearing, and entertaining read. The Genres for this novel are Fiction, Women’s Fiction, Mystery and Romance. This is the second book in the “Hell and Back club Series,” but is a stand alone. The timeline of the story is in the present and goes to the past only when it pertains to the events or characters in the story.

The author describes most of her characters as likable, neighborly and helpful. Some of the characters have questionable motives, and are complex and complicated. There are deep buried secrets from the past that have caused pain in the past and changes and surprises in the future.

Did you ever hear the expression when “one door closes, another opens?” Thirty- two -year -old Molly has to leave her comfortable and cushy life in Minneapolis, when her boyfriend of seven years, not only leaves the relationship, but leaves her in debt with a mortgage and other expenses. Molly has been dependent on Nick, and after he betrays her, she is desperate to find where she belongs.

Molly has inherited a run-down store and house that was left to her Mother, in the quaint town of Love. She is determined to find herself and run the store. At first many of the residents are overly cautious , because of past history with Molly’s grandfather. Molly certainly will have to prove herself. As Molly makes new friends, she also finds she is being threatened by someone who wants her to leave. After a frightening warning, Molly’s house is trashed, and things go missing. Each incident becomes more dangerous and threatening. Why is this happening, and who is responsible for wanting Molly to leave?

I appreciate that the author discusses the importance of family, neighbors, friends, love and hope. The author also mentions the importance of loyalty, strength, growth, communication, hard work and determination. I would recommend this novel to readers that enjoy the Genres of Fiction, Mystery and Romance. ( )
