I started this but it didn’t hook me. I was excited for a traumatized heroine but a chapter or two in and Honey just sounds like a cookie cutter Showalter heroine, all bubbly and quirky and “kewl” - I was hoping for some heroine-healing but her loins are already throbbing for the H and she is playing games... I think this series may have lost me. Still, I’ll give it another shot soon, I’ve been SO looking forward to her story!

I liked the ongoing storyline

I tried so hard to like Legion but I just do not like her. She ticked me off when she wanted Aeron and did so much damage and I can't seem to get over it.

Galen is equally as putrid but he doesn't pretend to be a good guy.

The background and ongoing storyline were what I liked about the story. It's an excellent series. (

I don't mind that this story was short, but as a consequence a larger portion of it was taken up by explaining everything a reader would need to know if they hadn't read all the previous books. And that left less time for the characters to work through their considerable issues, actually spend some time together to really fall in love, and face a new outside threat. So those weren't as flushed out as they might have otherwise been. The characters were likable though, and for the short length, I was happy with their relationship. (

I love the books in this series but I wish this one was longer!! I have waited for Legion's story for a while now. It was great, but again, too short. I can't wait to read more in this series. It's so good! (
