Lädt ... How Not to Blendvon Susan Hawke

Overall the book wasn't anything close to natural, the dialogues, the situations, everything was so fake and staged that it was like reading a script, the characters were just so fake? I was looking forward to this, the plot sounded amazing and I wanted to read all the series, so I was pretty disappointed. I liked this book. Corbin is Dr. Hottie who always gets coffee from Andy's stand. Andy has had a crush on him for ages, but Corbin is in his own little world. He has a super awesome son who is struggling with identity and bullying at school. Andy and Corb come together, initially as "fake" boyfriends, but they eventually realize that they click in a real way. I like how there was communication between the guys. I listened to this in audiobook format, and I really loved the narrator. Michael Pauley is one of my favorites, and he did a great job in this one as well. The characters had distinct voices and it flowed audibly. I am voluntarily reviewing an ARC provided by LesCourt Author Services Susan Hawke has something new for us, and dang, was it good. How not to blend is definitely the right title for this book, because Andy doesn't blend, and he's perfectly happy that way, and he will definitely let a person know, and offer to let them meet Jeebus, his grandmother's satanic dog. Corbin has been getting coffee from Andy's coffee kiosk for a long time, but doesn't really talk to him until he meets Andy is a whole different setting. Corbin is trying to get help to relate to his non-binary son, and he and Andy decide to fake being boyfriends to solve all kinds of problems. I totally love Andy, no matter what name he goes under, and he is totally fabulous, I mean, I can't even say how fabulous he is. I love how he and Corbin work well together. Even when they are having issues, they still care for each other and for their larger family. Gray is a cute kid and I'm glad that he has as much support as he does. I wish that all LGBTQ kids had that kind of support. And the whole description of Mama Honey's snake getting loose? Gave me all the life. Zeige 4 von 4 keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
