There are not enough stars in the skies to give this book. Really just not enough.

Wren, Caspian, Kieran, and Toby are such fascinating characters that they just never leave your mind. They are just so real too. The guys aren't all bad or all good, all dislikable or all likable. Each of them has times when they are really likable and could be seen as the good guys, and then the very next page, they have changed and you want to just hate them. Addison Cain has given them dimension, which only makes for a better story for us.

Wren is such a complicated character. You might think that an Omega would be pretty simple, and some of the other Omegas we see are fairly simple characters, but that's not Wren. There is always something going on in her head, and I love getting to see what she's thinking, plotting, and planning.

Not only is all this going on in the book, it's deviant, devious, filthy, obscene, twisted, dark, and perfect. It's the kind of story that makes you squirm in your seat a little, and makes you want to read it in private. And when you reach the end, you want to scream because the book is done, and you need more, so you go back and start it all over again. ( )

Waiting for new words from this author is always a mixture of titillating and painful. This author and her characters work themselves into my dreams. Seriously. I am not joking. If anyone that has read her work, that is again frightening and exciting. Seeing this book appear on my Kindle after hearing "soonish" as the answer to when it was going to be released was both a blessing and a curse. I needed to sleep. However, the other part of me kept chanting, "It's a Festivus Miracle".

How do I come up with the words to describe this book? I am always amazed at how the author manages to make the obscene and often times vulgar words come to life in a way that is delectable and enticing. Her world building and characters just draw me in like a mouse to cheese. She makes me want to sin with all of these salacious thoughts.

This portion of the story had a much different feel to it. Was it still filthy debauchery at its best? ABSOFRICKINGLUTELY yet it was so much more this time. Finally, I was able to get a glimpse into the minds of Caspian and Kieran not only with their thoughts but also with their actions. Some things were inferred and others were outright said. I LIKED that a lot. For so long I was questioning my sanity as to whether the only redemption to be found in these characters was in my head. It wouldn't be the first time, and I am sure it won't be the last time that Addison creates a repugnant character that plays a pivotal role.

However, and I shouldn't be saying this because this might just prompt Ms. Satan to change her mind, but I see hope in the way this story is playing out. I can see her evil mind working as I type this and that wicked smile.

This story focused primarily on interactions with Kieran and Caspian and Toby was just in the background but that still left a lot of powerplay in motion and not just with the main characters. There are other people at play in this story and I sure don't know what to make of that or their motivations. Wren is still hands down my favorite female character of any that this author writes.

I have no idea how long this story will go on or the timeline of when it will be done. I am over asking. Instead, I will just sit back and drink lots of wine as I watch this story unfold and wait for all the deliciousness to continue.

This instalment was so fab, just adored the addition of that conniving and sneaky doll.
Kieran has made his bed and he is so not a happy camper for it even going as far as to blame the mouse for his current predicament with her unwanted replacement.
In fact, the power play between the boys in Ravaged Captive was fascinating to observe and as far as I can see Toby is the one that's thinking with his right head where Kieran here seems to be more a creature of instinct unnecessarily rocking the boat and antagonising Caspian.
Caspian also now seems to be completely enamoured of his mouse wanting her to like him best of all.
Which in turn has a domino effect on the pack hierarchy.
So despite the extremities of this story, I am now just so addicted to these power plays of dominance and submission and as soon as I know a new episode is heading my way I drop everything to immerse myself in this cruel dystopian omegaverse serial its just that addictive.
Really want to know now just what that shady doll is up to she sure is one to watch.
This series does need to be read in order and also be aware that this is dark reverse-harem omegaverse: not a romance.
So yep really enjoyed this one.
I voluntary reviewed a copy of Ravaged Captive (Wren’s Song, #4).
