I've known Keely for her whole life. She's my deceased best friend's little sister, now my best friend by default, and the closest thing I have left to anything resembling family. She's off limits. Too bad she didn't get the memo. After leaving the military, I came back to the only place I had never known as home-hers. With her brother gone, she's in a rough spot. She needs me more than ever. Watching out for her should be easy. Second Nature. Something I've always done. Why, with Austin gone, does it suddenly feel so different? I tell myself she's off limits on a daily basis- but there is one tiny problem. Keely is all grown up, and she doesn't feel the same way. She's smart, funny, smoking hot, and desperately trying to get into my pants-and my heart. Moving in with her was a really bad idea. *Good Luck Daddy is Book 1 in a hot new Rom-Com series about a group of friends, bonded over their love of dirty books with drool-worthy heroes, who eventually get their own hot, hilarious, happily-ever-afters.* Keine Bibliotheksbeschreibungen gefunden. |

Keely has lost her brother and now the rest of her life is falling apart. She's almost hit bottom, and then Jasper walks back into her life. He was her older brother's best friend, and was in the same military unit as he was. Keely currently hates him because he wasn't there for her when her brother died, and she needed him. When Jasper sees how bad things are, he's there to be her good luck charm.
I really felt bad for Keely. When you are in that place, it just takes a little tiny thing to go wrong and then it turns into a huge thing and it has rolled you right over. She's totally in that place, and I feel so bad. I do, however, love that she has her great friends in the book club there to help her, and there to threaten to kick Jasper's rear end as necessary.
I like Jasper, mostly, but I kind of wanted to kick his ass more than once. He totally deserved it. (
