So this was the sequel to malice set many years later.
I enjoyed this but it didn't quite pack the punch of its predecessor.
I was just so glad to be finally getting some answers though I do wish that not so much time had passed in terms of years.
This was also much shorter than I would have liked and I do think a longer story would have done this story more justice overall.
No matter this was still a read that I was very much looking forward to just for the closure aspect of it all.
So yep blood and gore still abound at the Dahlia nothings changed there but what we do get here is a more stripped-down version of Julian that I wholly appreciated and Morgana herself also seems must more willing to accept and embrace her inner monster.
Maybe because of her previous head injury and the holes in her memory who knows?
I also enjoyed catching up with the rest of this oddball family.
So yep thankfully this provided the closure and HEA we didn't get in Malice finally concluding Julian and Morgana's chapter to my satisfaction as their unfinished saga was just killing me.
So happy to see them both achieve there own twisted version of the whole fairytale.
I voluntary reviewed a copy of Malevolence (Dahlia Saga #4).
