Two years ago, she ruined my family's life. Maybe she thought it was only a little lie. That she did the right thing, that the worst was behind her, that no one had gotten hurt. Oh, how naive the black-haired beauty was. Fate has finally brought her back to me, to Blackthorn Academy.Once upon a time, I was obsessed, consumed with the need to make her mine. Now I just want revenge, and I'll do whatever I can to get it. You see, the beautiful, sweet, Willow doesn't realize the mistake she's made yet. She doesn't realize that she's entered the lion's den, and there won't be any escaping her fate. I'm Parker Rothschild, and I'll become her nightmare, her enemy, her bully. By the time I'm finished with her, she'll be begging me for forgiveness and pleading to confess her sins.**This is a standalone DARK bully romance. This book contains scenes that may be triggering to some readers. This is not a YA romance novel and should be read by those only 18+ or older. **… (mehr)

The first thing I would say is, overall, I like the book. I like the story. It's things that actually happen in the real world. It wouldn't surprise me if this book was based on a true story. That's how messed up this world really is.

Next thing I will say, and this is a complaint, but it's not specifically for this particular author. Well in this case it is but it's also a generalized comment.

I wish that authors would learn the difference between cum vs come.

There is coming (adjective), which means two different things one that someone is you moving or on the move, or someone is experiencing high amounts of pleasure.

However, c u m (noun), is the actual thing that they're coming. Get my point here? I've always noticed that people make mistakes between coming and, cumming. There is no such thing actually as cumming. Just cum.

Now I know a lot of you are probably running to your Urban dictionaries and all that crap but let me tell you, in the literary world there is no such thing.

So I would love it if people start getting that straight.

Now for the book overall, I did like Parker. I mean I guess I get turned on by that kind of animalistic feel to a guy. But there were sometimes there that he pushed it a little too far. And I would have made the characters speak up a little bit more against his father. Because what his father put her through was bullshit.

Also I would have decked her father. When he went to smack her or punch her or whatever he was going to do to her, I would have knocked his socks off.

Especially since by this point Parker knew that he was in love with this girl, so he should have taken care of her.

I'm sure the boy could have escaped a assault charge.

As for Willow, I don't know how much I liked about her character. There were a few points there that I absolutely adored her. Speaking up for herself was rock on. But there's a few times there that I thought she was too weak.

Also I am betting that Ashton killed herself because no one was listening to her. People were putting stories into her head. They were mixing up what she was telling them. There was no place for her to go. At least in her head. And it's amazing how much pain people who feel even if they think that they're alone, in a room full of people. There could be people all around her saying talk to me talk to me, and in her head she's hearing leave me alone. I feel bad for her giving up her life for what happened to her.

Overall good book. And yes I would recommend it. Especially to my friend Janelle who likes to read my reviews. And then giggle about them later. I love Janelle.

Off to read the next book. Well after I charge my tablet LOL. ( )

Enemies to lovers?

Willow is under orders from her father to make influential friends; Parker is seeking vengeance for his brother who she helped imprison. Violence, forced relationships and threats make this a compelling and enjoyable story. ( )
