Pilgrim's Progress: Journey to Heaven (or simply Pilgrim's Progress) is a 2008 Christian film based on John Bunyan’s classic novel The Pilgrim's Progress.[1] It was written and directed by Danny Carrales, and starred Daniel Kruse as Christian.[2] The film was featured at the Merrimack Valley Christian Film Festival.[3]

Plot:
Set in the modern day, the main character in the film, Christian (Daniel Kruse) is concerned about the well-being of his family after reading a book which says that the city will be destroyed by fire. It becomes a burden for him, but his family and friends reject the warnings in the book. He begins his journey to The Celestial City where he has been told that he will find safety from the coming destruction and relief from his burden.

Highly recommended for all Christians to use as soul winning tool. This is an awesome evangelism tool for non-Christians. The movie explains the life of a real believer who follows Jesus Christ. The message of this film tells briefly but exactly how it is that a Christian who tries to serve Jesus with all his heart goes through (spiritually). At various stages of a Christians life Satan will be sowing seeds of doubts and thorns (example Bible is false - evolution is true, Jesus Christ never existed, Jesus Christ was never resurrected, hatred against Christians, Riots against Christians etc) so that a Christian stops following Christ. The film explains to us that following Jesus Christ is NOT EASY. But if you have accepted him as your LORD and SAVIOR, the CONFORTER (Holy Spirit) is there with you to help you go through it all. This movie is worth watching, and is worth every penny, it's more than just a film, this is a brief summary of how a REAL CHRISTIAN lives day in and day out.
