Perhaps as a warning, please leave your cynical self at the door before venturing into this story. I assure you it will make things a lot easier.

Down on his luck Jamie desperately needs some help, and somehow it finds him in the form of Guy, a wealthy businessman taking the opportunity to pay it forward. Guy offers his home, his money, and his cooking skills to Jamie so he doesn’t have to work 3 jobs to pay for school and can fully concentrate on studying and preparing to become a lawyer. It really is too good to be true, but regardless, Guy and Jamie gradually become great friends and get along fabulously and seamlessly.Though Jamie sees himself as straight, his little sexual experience and his mounting exposure to all things Guy, slowly opens his eyes to his attraction. Curiosity is definitely banging on the door here.

Now this premise isn’t so bad in and of itself, but there were a few niggles that my cold, distrustful heart had to ignore or put aside to continue to enjoy this, especially when it came to the fast progression of how quickly Jamie accepts his newfound luck and the initial weirdness of Guy. However, once those few roadblocks were overcome, this really was a sweet love story with very little relationship angst.

I guess you could say that this is a modern day fairy tale where dreams really do come true. Just check your BS meter at the door and get ready for quite the lovely and really hot romance! Yowza!!! Enjoy!

I liked it! Once you get past the way they first meet, you might enjoy the story.
It was a sugary sweet, no angst story.
