However it was rather slow and nothing overly gripping. Half way in it starts to pick up and turns in to a really decent story, moving at just the right pace and tackling a subject that is hard to approach with grace and handled it very well. I did almost quit a few times during that first half but to anyone wanting to read this, please do! the last half makes up for the slow beginning and you'll be glad you stuck it out. You may even find yourself relating to the characters or situations which is a breath of fresh air given the subjects discussed I was provided with a digital copy via booksirens and publishers so I could leave my honest, unfiltered review.
