- It certainly needs a thorough editing.
- The world building is non-existent.
- The logic doesn't always work. No one cares in the ogre community about living peacefully along the humans, except for the MC and his twin brothers. So taking a (any would do, as we find out) prince hostage for the "greater good/equal rights" is a moot point.
- The prince... oh, the prince. Both of them, actually, 'cause there are two. What kind of a prince goes hunting an elk all by himself? The logistics of getting that big dead thing to the castle alone... ugh, I can't even!
Not to mention the great ogre infestation. Where were the prince's parents? Unless they wanted to get rid of their son. Where were the guards, the dogs, the gamekeeper, the minions?
- Ogres and oves. There are nothing alike the real thing, apparently. I fully expected an ogre...
...but what did I get? A tall and handsome, gentle and caring basketball size human.
- The pain. Every single character at every single moment is in some sort of pain. There is so much pain to go around, it's painful to read :/ But no matter how painful things get, there is always time and place for sex. Cause there is nothing like a blow to the head, or a vicious wound to your thigh, to make you Horny (with the capital H)
- LOVE.
After much pain and humiliation at oves' hands the prince is suddenly in lust and immediately after that in love with his ogre captor. And the other way around.
- There is insane(!) amount of puking, peeing, eye widening, eye narrowing, chuckling, giggling and snickering.
- And then there is the Oaf Prince's sister. WHY is she in this book? O.o A mystery to me. Could have done without.

IDK, I might be jaded. After all I read and very much enjoyed [b:Bloodraven|6617506|Bloodraven (Bloodraven #1)|P.L. Nunn|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1314887548s/6617506.jpg|6811618] *drools a little*
But for those who shy away from scary ogres/orc/other shady, unholy characters and real pain, this book is a perfect read. Not saying the book is "bad" bad, just that it is not for me.
