This book was not what i expecting it to be. Having a publisher like Harlequin who are closely linked to romance genre, i am surprise that this book have the minimalist of it. Prior to me reading this book, i was going thru the author's profile to understand more about the book that i am going to read. and the caption ' compelling suspense that touches the heart' caught my attention. After reading thru this book, i know now what the caption is all about. ;)

Abby and Ethan are the two main characters in this book that tells the story of Abby who after being jilted by her fiance, decided to take a temporary job at Blackberry Hill ended up staying at Ethan's house when all resorts are fully booked. Reading up to this stage, one would expect that the story plot to continue develop into how both Abby and Ethan's love story develope but it was not. Instead, the author includes some elements of suspense and mystery such as the mystery intrusion at Ethan's home and the missing auction proceed at Abby's hospital. This mystified me as the reader as to what is going on and it have ignite the feeling to rush reading thru this book to find the answer to the mystery. :) ( )
