Finally, justice for Bertha! I enjoyed this different concept in a Jane Eyre retelling. I feel like the characters could have been fleshed out more, and the romantic feelings between Bertha and Jane needed to be more convincing. I adore the original JANE EYRE, but it was fun to see Rochester painted as he was in this story. ( )
