In which he United Nations calls on the coven to restore electrical power to the world after a hacker shuts it all down. Just as the witches and their boffins are settling in to the job, preoccupation shifts to the appearance of a pair of otherworldly twins who claim to be lost in the wilderness looking for their parents, but whose vague and, well, enigmatic, communication techniques arouse suspicion, in the reader as well as the witches themselves. The author ably blends fantasy and mystery as the witches hit the trail to figure their unwanted guests out, whilst the world anxiously awaits the return of its electricity.
