A sweet take on "We're Going on a Bear Hunt," in which a trio of children navigate Christmas trees, reindeer, carolers, and toy store aisles to find a present for the baby, that of a teddy bear. The repeated line "we're not scared" feels awkward in what is a festive story with a bright palette. Perhaps "we're on our way!" would have worked better. (

I love the bright, fun illustrations that go with this sequel to “Going on a Bear Hunt”. Children go through trees and reindeer, carol singers and toy stores looking for a present. I think the climax is adorable and funny. (

Kids will love this holiday version of the popular kid's song "We're Going On a Bear Hunt". Instead of a bear, the kids are hunting presents! Just like the original, they have a few obstacles to get around first, like reindeer, Christmas trees, and carolers!

The illustrations are bright and beautiful. There is also a QR code on the back cover that leads to a free audio reading of the book. (

What a cute book! This children's book is perfect for fans of the "We're going on a bear hunt" variety of songs, plus the perfect book for Christmas! My 8 year old and 5 year old both enjoyed it and sang along with the song. Would definitely recommend! The illustrations are also really beautiful and just tie in great with the song. (

I was excited to receive this book. It is very colorful and has a repetitive story line that is that is great for young children. Reading it aloud with the pattern it has will encourage the young child to "read" it for themselves. This book will instill the love of reading to many children.
