I have patiently, well maybe not patiently but as patiently as I could, waited for Landon’s story because of how similar he is to Killian and his uncle Aiden. We knew Kill was great at emulating feelings and manipulation, but Landon seems to be worse, yet at times I thought maybe Kill was truly the most vicious. Landon thrives on chaos and helping create it, that is until he meets his muse that things start to change. Mia keeps a lot to herself and will do anything to protect those she loves even against the one guy that sets her soul on fire and she isn’t afraid to go toe to toe with the devil himself, Landon. The more entangled these two become you see changes in both of them, like they bring out something in each other that only they get and it makes you love them and at times want to throat punch them. The twists in this one is quite a lot that keep you on your toes and your heart may hurt for some but you find yourself pulling for the devil Landon quite a bit. I absolutely think this is my favorite in this series with Kill being a close second since they are both so alike, but there is just something about Landon you want to dive into and keep forever. ( )

First Impressions
God of Ruin is the most latest release of the "Legacy of Gods" series and in this one we have the story between Landon and Mia. And this story was just as sexy and hilarious and crazy as the previous books that we have seen within the series so far. And I have to say that I went into this one pretty blind. I just knew that it was pretty well loved for Rina Kent readers, so I was really hoping that this one worked for me. The pacing was a bit off at times and I had some issues with the plot as a while, but it was still a solid read that kept me entertained.

Summary
Mia and Landon are on opposites of a rivalry and Mia is out to get justice for the harm done to her brother by Landon King. She wants to give him a taste of his justice and when she goes undercover and has an entanglement with him and comes out on top, he knows it was her and he will be coming for her. Mia also suffers from a disability as she was kidnapped as a child and ever since hasn't spoken a word. But Mia is strong willed and loves her family with a passion. When Landon discovers who she is, he plans on hunting her down and bringing her to her knees, but it doesn't go quite as planned when he falls hard for Mia and he will have to work hard to bring a truce between their families and prove himself to her...

What I Loved
There are many elements to this book that I truly enjoyed. First off, no one writes the crazy playboys like Rina Kent. There is something about how she writes a anti hero that immediately pulls you into the story. And if you want to try out this author and enjoy a good dark romance, this series is the best to start with. It is connected to other series but I highly recommend this series as I think its some of her best writing that she has ever done. From the beginning you are swept up into the story, the first couple of chapters are very compelling and you will hard put being able to place this book down at first. There is some fantastic chemistry that sets the tone of the story from the beginning. We also see how these two play with each other and get off on their games. Landon and Mia make such a fabulous couple and when they work out all the kinks in their relationship---its *chefs kiss* good. I absolutely was entertained with their romance. It gets a bit crazy at times because Landon is not normal lol But Rina Kent really writes Landon in such a way that you are intrigued even if you are disturbed by some of the actions that he takes. There is also a mix of angst in the story. The first aspect is in the relationship itself. But then its also the forbidden aspects to the story. We see how Landon and Mia also have to work with the conflicts of her family. And it gets pretty intense at times. There are also surprises we get in the end involving Mia's past kidnapping and the reveals at the end here----I DID NOT see coming. Rina Kent really knows how to shock her audience and deliver a solid read to get behind on.

What I Struggled With
The pacing was really off in this book. At times I was super engaged, and at other times I just wanted to skim through parts haha It just felt so off at times and the flow could have been written more smoothly.

Overall View
God of Ruin is a superb read that delivers thrills and chills, spooky vibes, and a forbidden affair that culminates in a satisfying ending that leaves you burning for more...
