In which a double marriage ceremony, and indeed the coven as a whole, is thrust into bewilderment and anguish when the two benedicts are abducted by Greece's famed enchantress Circe and placed in captivity for her evaluation as potential mates. The coven springs into action to enable their return, but the two brides, including essential leader Phoebe, are necessarily sidelined owing to their grief. As always, the reader is drawn into caring about the principals and in the end the story becomes a pageturner as the witches must prepare to do battle with one of their own.

Another entry in the series, in which Sylus and Ormond are snatched by the legendary Olympian, who wants one of them to be her consort. Phoebe and Masa join the team to find their grooms, but there are obstacles to be dealt with before they reach the inner sanctum of the redoubtable Circe. Before the mission is over, they will have to do battle with one of their own, and Phoebe, Galaxzis, and Moodle will be in grave danger...but not as grave as Masa.
