Extremely long for a picture book, sort of meandering, and not quite what it says on the tin, but interesting to read about how the stories about tooth mice/fairies have evolved across time and place. (When a Tooth Mouse and a Tooth Ant meet, fall in love, and have a child, the Tooth Fairy is born!) Charming illustrations.
