𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐮𝐜𝐤
My review is for a physical copy of the book that I own.
I like that the main characters are British, i'm British so it's relatable.
We call people "Mate" in England when we don't like someone, or have a disagreement with anyone. It's a common phrase.
It's used in a friendly banter context as well.
The alcohol consumption emboldens both the men and makes them feel empowered, they want to punch/beat up the bartender, but they would probably get their arses kicked by the bartender 😅
No man wants to be known as a "𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐩𝐮𝐦𝐩, 𝐜𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐩" or they are considered only good enough for a "𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐟𝐮𝐜𝐤" either it would be embarrassing and damaging to the pride, ego or reputation of any man.
I like the artwork that is used in this extreme horror novella.
Ben is a sexually adventurous, free spirited and sexually liberated type of person, while Mikey seems more reserved, probably more shy and self conscious.
Due to being a sex-crazed maniac, a pervert sex fiend that Ben is, it's his idea to ring the phone number in sex ad in the back-page section of the magazine, which has disastrous, unknown & unwanted consequences.
It's supposed to be a prank, but they picked the wrong cuck/cuckold to fuck with.
Ben seems like the type of person to act on his impulses, then think about the consequences of his actions afterwards, when it's already too late.
The creepy older man is a cuck/cuckold and a voyeur, he likes watching his wife Bessie being pleasured by unsuspecting strangers.
Due to his age and her bigger figure, he is unable to fulfill her sexual needs so, the sex ad was made for this exact purpose.
Ben & Mickey get more than they bargained for though, they aren't exactly comfortable or happy with the voyeuristic, cuck older man, sitting in a dark corner watching what they are doing with his wife Bessie for his and her sexual gratification.
I like the artwork that is used in this extreme horror novella.
The cuck has a demonic, lustful, cannibalistic vibe, the old man seems like he is possessed by a demon or something is attached to him because he doesn't seem fully human in my opinion.
He has weird black eyes, filed down sharp teeth and a weird tongue.
There us something strange, creepy and unsettling about the cuck, he seems like he is a soulless vessel for a predatory, lustful demon.
It's creepy how he has invaded the minds and thoughts of Mickey & Ben and that he was in the same room as Ben while he was having sex with Olivia, the fact that he disappeared makes he supernatural, beyond being a mere human being.
Mickey is a relatable character, he isn't the predatory, pushy type of creep towards women but his friend Ben is a sex-addicted, pervert in comparison 😅
I like Aron Beauregard's writing style, i'm glad I bought a few of his books, I look forward to reading the rest of his disturbing, graphically violent, macabre books 🤘🙂

Mickey is a lit tougher than I originally thought he was, but he is still more caring than Ben.
But Mickey has a hidden darkside, that is expressed every time he has to defend his friend Ben, protect him or clean up his messes when he gets himself into any trouble.
The cuck is either a shapeshifter, he is soulless and possessed by a entity, or a demon but more specifically a incubus- (a sex demon)
Demons have to be invited in, they know if your sexually repressed, they know that you suppress/repress your sexual desires and what you secretly desire, the aspects of yourself that your ashamed of and hide from other people.
They know a lot about humanity, specific people in general, without people having to tell them anything.

He asks for permission to watch people engage in extreme, potentially violent, sadistic sex, he feeds on their sexual energy, sexual desire and over time he influences various people, controls & influences their thoughts, behaviour, the perception they have of themselves, he partially possess them so they will enact self mutilation for his sick, perverse sexual gratification and pleasure.
They have no memory of this happening so they were partially possessed.
The cuck drains the energy of anyone he watches have sex, every time he watches people have sex or pleasure themselves he is feeding on their sexual energy, sexual desire and it's making him stronger, so every tine he is seen he has a much stronger influence, energy, power and control over his victims.
He influences people to engage in their sexual desires, fantasies and their
self-destructive impulses to mutilate themselves.
Sexual pleasure and physical pain is something demons like.
The cuck seems like he would feel drawn to people that are submissive, a masochist, a painslut, people that are into BDSM, people that are self-destructive, or people that are a sexual sadist, serial killer, a rapist.
I'm curious if the cuck watches people masturbate? 🤔
The cuck would preys on people and attaches itself to anyone that has experienced, pain, trauma, people that are addicted to sex because they are easier to influence, control, manipulate, possess and drain the energy of them.
I liked reading this book, it was interesting, the plot was unique and I liked the plot twists, it's a good book to read but maybe not for everyone due to gore. ( )
