The second edition of the Opus Magnum of the magical teachings of the Hermetic Brotherhood of the Golden Dawn, as well as the 19th century occult teachings of the Western esoteric tradition. No wonder both the numbered limited edition and the numbered deluxe limited edition of this title was sold out in a few years.

Compared to the original New Falcon first edition this is by far superior because of the Master Table of Contents and the somewhat extensive Index - the tools that are exactly what any treatise on magic and occult runnign over 1,000 pages long needs. Even the flat back of the book is more suitable for reading this thick brick. As a follow up, publisher has made the title available as an e-book, which is a very logical move for such a reference book, considering the benefits of even better search options of an e-book.

In some copies the hardback binding glue has been a bit messy, but though such an aesthetic fumble can be seen a major flaw for a book this expensive, it can still be overlooked for the inarguable improvements of this edition. ( )
