That's why when I found this book, I was estatic. Finally, I am able to read a good story and learn vocabulary words. This book is a story about a adolescent girl who has to go undercover as a student to try and catch other students involved in a drug ring. However, what happens if you were to fall for the main leader of this infamous drug ring? The interesting plot twists and story lines kept me reading. Because of the high vocabulary in the text, I knew I was learning also. At the bottom of each page, I found all the SAT vocabulary words defined. I would recommend this book to all SAT bound students because it was extremely helpful in learning all my SAT words. It was even easier than index cards because they were used in context. As far as a novel goes, the story is a quick, easy, and fun read and if you’re looking to build your vocabulary, you’ll find all the words you need along with accurate definitions. Just don’t expect many context clues to help you figure out what they mean for yourself. In the context of SAT prep, these books are awesome. They contain words from the SAT and the words are in bold with the definition at the bottom. Great instead of just looking at a word list. ( )
