this book is a fun song book that has songs such as old mcdonald, twinkle twinkle little star, and other nursery rhymes.

Summary:
This Old Man is a book about a man who has a pair of drumsticks. He plays his drumsticks on a different object with every page. You can sing along with the words and the verse and chorus is the same.. The book has holes so you can guess what word is coming up next by looking at the picture. It is a great counting book for young children. The end of the book has the notes if you ever want to play it with an instrument.

Personal Reaction:
The words in the book are very catchy; very fun to sing along with! I think it is a great book for when students are learning to count. It's an old book but still a great book. It is also great for young learners.

Classroom Extenions:
1. I would have my students make their own This Old Man book with their own rhymes and pictures.
2. I would have my students make a dance to the words so they can sing and dance along!
