This is one of the delights of my private book collection.. probably because I like Star Trek. I bought it the same night Princess Diana was killed - I was pulling out of the parking lot when the news broke. Sadly it was pulled from the shelves shortly afterwards (as in two-three days) for some kind of infringement of the Trek trademark. It would have made a great holiday gift.

It has daily meditations - philosophically based not religious. Each month is a sector. Each day has a quote from a character (series and episode named) TOS to VOY, then a few paragraphs about a topic related to the quote and it winds up with a well I don't know what you call them.. let's go with "pithy statement to face the day with and achieve something or another". Wait.. the introduction has it! "Self-affirmation or action for the day". I'm not one for all that stuff but this one I like. I think many Trek fans would find this a lot of fun.

If this is ever redone it would be interesting to see the changes added with the ENT crew and the newer movies.

It remains a book I keep with me. Wherever my home is, you'll find it.
