Joshua's father has been reported missing in a light plane crash in Mexico. He was an archaeologist and was flying to ruins but something is not right as his plane is found miles off course. Then Josh starts having strange dreams about the Ix Codex and with the help of his best friend and a girl he meets through the internet, he sets off to Mexico to find out what happened to his father. Suddenly Josh is running for his life as his father is dead, his long-lost sister has appeared and his friends are arrested by the police. Josh doesn't know who to trust in a strange land where his world is falling apart. I thought this was going to be another space aliens give technology to Mayans book but this wasn't the case. Not bad and kept me reading to the end. (Plot spoiler: I bet the older girl he met on-line is not all she seems! We'll have to wait for the next two books in the series.) keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen

Last Joshua had heard from his father, he was in Mexico searching for an ancient codex believed to contain key information regarding the 2012 Mayan Prophecy foretelling the end of the world.
Now, his father has been reported dead in a mysterious plane crash. Believing his father's death was probably not an accident, Joshua flies across the Atlantic to investigate. There he runs into unknown relatives, shady American intelligence agents, a secret society, and a living Mayan city.
Who can Josh trust? What really happened to his father? Will he get home alive?
