This book is very versatile, but I don't think I would use it in my classroom other than for a choral reading, since it has a rhyme scheme. I would use this book in 2nd-3rd grade for that. I could also use it in a history lesson because it talks about the history of money. I think kids would like this because it is a Dr. Suess book and is comical. ( )

This is a fun twist on learning about money with the Cat in the Hat. It simply introduces money and does some minor money counting. A great book for beginners with money.
