This was a book I happened to get because I won the sequel in an e-Bay lot! The sequel looked really good, so I wanted to read what came first! I'm really glad I took the time to get this book. I enjoyed it immensely! This book had a lot of excitement and adventure in it, even for a shorter book. The characters are fun, even if we aren't as connected to them as I would like. The Druidess and the mage are the two characters who seem to have the most development to them, but I am looking forward to the next book to see if we get closer to the other characters who I enjoyed this adventure with. This book is appropriate for people of all ages, the action and adventure are great, but nothing is overly graphic. There is enough description to get the point across, but nothing that is overdone. Wonderful story, great characters, and a new captivating world earn this older book four stars from me!! ( )
