Welp, now that I've found a Blyton, finally, in a thrift store, I know why they're so hard to find in the US. There not worth importing. Ridiculous plot, blatant sexism, feasts that are 70% sugar and 0% vegetable but still mom-approved.... And the kids are so mean to Susie, just because she wants to be a member of their club. For some reason, this is the Secret Seven adventure I most vividly remember from my first readings. I remember particularly liking the fact that they didn't just happen upon an adventure but trained themselves to be observant, in ways that paid off. After reading it I wanted to be good at the "20 things on a tray" game but I never was. I also wanted to be brave enough to try shadowing people! I've now worked out who Peter reminds me of: Captain Manwearing from Dad's Army! Zeige 4 von 4 keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
