Jayson moves to LA with his bother Drew, while Elizabeth moves to Boston to go to college. They separate, and Jayson eventually becomes popular with his music and is now very famous. He eventually gets married to someone named Debbie, who they have one kid named Macy. Elizabeth is very disappointed in this even though she still loves him. She is depressed and gets married to someone named Robert and have 2 boys. They both have a nightmare on their way. Debbie cheats on Jayson, and Macy runs away for more than 2 years. He is dumbfounded until his band dies from either, AIDS or drugs. He is very, very, very depressed. He gets addicted to proscription drugs and is in a ruin, almost suicide. Robert and one of Elizabeths oldest kids die on a river rafting trip. They both need each other. He almost attempts suicide until she saves his life by just a simple phone call. He comes to Utah to live with Elizabeth and her father, he is caught by Elizabeth from being addicted to prescription drugs. He goes to rehab and is lost and he thinks he is nothing. This all concludes in the second book of Jayson Wolfe called A Distant Thunder.

My opinion about this book is amazing. I loved the way the author formates this book in the way Jayson does his music and his love for Elizabeth. It is an amazing book, also an very sad book. His mother dies of cancer and his is lost, he calls Elizabeth where he notices that they are both on the same page. She basically saves his life. This is an amazing part of the story, I could read it forever. The author is amazing in telling an amazing story to let the people that are reading this book, along with the series to think of how this could be real life, and it could occur to you... This all happens in the book A Distant Thunder. ( )

Elizabeth and Jayson miss another chance to get back together and each marries someone else and has children. Elizabeth joins the LDS church, and Jayson's music career takes off, but divorce and death and grief threaten to destroy both their lives. You cheer and you cry at each turn of events in their lives, especially their deepening friendship through it all.
