Continuing on from "The Dog that Dumped on My Doona," Marcus is over the moon when his Dad announces that the family are going to spend a few weeks at a remote wilderness lodge in the Northern territory. He is even more thrilled when they agree for his insane friend Dylan to come along as they have promised Marcus' evil older sister that she can invite her friend Siobahn. Everything looks to go according to plan until suddenly Marcus smells a foul odour and realises that Blacky (The smelling, talking one-dog environment crusader) is back in his life with another mission. This one involves stopping big game hunters from targeting some huge crocodiles not far from the wilderness lodge where they are staying. Through into this mix, Rose and Cy-Ob-Han fighting over the waiter, some crocodiles who think they are mafia gangsters and, of course Dylan being his usual over-the-top ADHD self and you have another hilarious eco-friendly tome from a great YA Australian writer. p.48 -53 The cat fight begins over the waiter - very funny.
