Not as enjoyable or well written as the fictionalized version (Eclipse by Richard North Patterson.) Best parts were the meetings with Steve Biko's and Aung San's children about shared experiences.

After his father is executed he searches out the children of other martyrs/heroes to compare and understand their shared experiences. After his execution in 1995, the son of Ken Saro-Wiwa, wrote about his father' life and legacy. Mr Kiwa sr. was one of Nigeria's foremost writers and critics of Nigeria's military rule and brought world attention to the human rights abuses in his country. His son, now a journalist and writer in Canada, writes a memoir, biography and tribute to his famous father. Highly recommended ( )
