Never Neck at Niagara takes place at Niagara Falls while Leigh and Warren are away at a political junket - or at least Warren is and Leigh tags along to. The pair are now newlyweds having married a few weeks before this trip. While out and about, Leigh falls asleep and overhears something she shouldn't have and before long, she's one smack bang in the middle of murder. Poor Warren. Even on holiday, Leigh can't manage to escape from murder.

This was only about 33 pages, so it's fairly short but the mystery manages to pack a lot into those pages. I liked the twist and Leigh is always amusing. Unfortunately Warren only makes a brief appearance. Still, an enjoyable addition to the series. 4 stars. (

Another adventure with Leigh but, she has finally married Warren so some sense of calm and reason has come into her life. Nope! No change, Leigh is still on her quest to save the world. What I can't figure out is how someone with a degree in journalism and responsibility as a copy writer in her own advertising firm finds time and curiosity to pursue unraveling mysteries and bringing the evil doers to justice often at the risk of her own life. As always, Edie Swihart introduces a stable of quirky characters as lovable as ever populate the story. Leigh's family and cats are all involved as expected and lend their presence to the range of enjoyable reading. Plenty of action, suspense and smiles as the story wraps up with an unsuspected and rewarding conclusion. Just another lovely read! (
